Migratory Bird Taxidermy

Species Experience
Waterfowl Philosophy

Kaleb Moore has experience mounting nearly all species of North American waterfowl (ducks) and most species of migratory birds (for which there is a hunting season).

Waterfowl trophies are the final result of the hunter’s terrific day on the lake or in the marsh. The bird’s beauty must be captured in such a way as to rekindle the memory, the excitement of the day and their passion for bird hunting.

Mount Styles

We offer flying mounts and standing mounts.

Proper Trophy Care

Turnaround Time

You can expect Kaleb to complete waterfowl and migratory bird taxidermy projects in less than eight months, with most being done in less than six months.

Great end results begin with proper care in the field. Kaleb suggests that the hunter wipe off excess blood, when possible and cool down that trophy as soon as possible. Freezing the bird within a few hours is extremely helpful in producing a great end result.

Pricing Structure

Payment Terms

One-third down payment is required to begin all taxidermy projects. Upon completion, the remaining balance is due. Your trophy must be picked up and paid for within 30 days of notice. If requested, we are happy to arrange for shipping for an additional charge. Trophies not picked up (or shipped) and paid for in 30 days will be charged a storage fee of $30 per month. Trophies not picked up (or shipped) and paid for in 90 days will be considered abandoned and will be sold for the balance due.

Habitat bases, driftwood and name plates are an additional charge that we can discuss.
